Our Story
Within walking distance of Seaside Bungalow is ‘The Beachcomber’ restaurant and clubhouse which has free family entertainment every night and ‘The Brean Down Inn’ which also serves food and is dog friendly. There is also a very popular Chinese takeaway and a small supermarket. Brean Down is a short walk along the beach and is one of the landmarks of the Somerset Coastline. There are two cafes, a small visitor centre and a bird garden at the foot of the Down. As you climb the 100 metres to the top you will be met with spectacular views across the region. As you walk the mile and a half to the end of the Down, you will find a Victorian Fort and all its ruins. Not for the faint hearted but an exhilarating day out not to be missed.
