What a surprise! We didn’t even know that had been nominated in the category ‘Country Accommodation of the Year’ let alone be picked as the winner🎉. 90,000 businesses and corporate professionals, magazine contributors & subscribers were invited to nominate individuals/companies based on factors such as quality of service, innovation, experience, sustainability and other areas…and we were chosen!

What an amazing, challenging and unforgettable couple of days I’ve just spent trying my hand at BMW’s Off Road course just down the road near Neath. Did you see Graeme Souness, on BBC Breakfast this morning, talking about his forthcoming swim for the charity DEBRA? Utterly heart-breaking to watch: he's swimming across The Channel to raise money for people living with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB). A truly horrific disease that I'm not sure many of us could survive a day with, let alone a lifetime, with no cure. Please help, if you can, to get funding for desperately needed research. What an amazing view of the moon rising yesterday evening (iPhone doesn’t do it justice) from Seren Mawr. Almost ready for our first guests this weekend- great to see a return of the snow to mark the occasion 😂🤣. Fear not the hut tub will be steaming and the woodburner blazing away inside..!!
