We’ve had some bizarre weather again this week, snow, rain, sunshine and gales. Here are a few photos I’ve taken over the past week.

Just a bit of an update for you all. We went live with bookings on the 1st January and it’s gone crazy, we have a few dates left in Jan and Feb but they are filling up quickly.

We are on Airbnb but you can also book with us direct.

📣📣We are now taking bookings for our custom built wooden lodges, Yan and Taen for 2024. 📣📣

Yan has been decorated in a classic white and grey colour scheme, whereas Taen has been left in the natural wood colour.

Both lodges have an open-plan living and dining area, complete with a 65 inch smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove and real wooden floors.

Each lodge has one super king sized bed with Hypnos mattress, a free standing slipper bath, underfloor heating and a shower cabin complete with monsoon shower, blue tooth connectivity and body jets.

There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which will sleep a maximum of 2 people

Outside is your own private garden/patio area complete with hot tub and table and chairs so you can take in the view of Coniston Old Man, Black Combe and the Duddon Estuary.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Parking is available on site, however there is a slight incline to walk from the parking area to the lodges.

The lounge area has a 2 seater sofa and 2 seater sofa-bed with wood burning stove and 65 inch Smart TV.

There is a full fitted kitchen with induction hob, single oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.

All cabins are 1 bedroomed but can sleep 4 with a sofa bed in the lounge. The beds are superking sized with a Hypnos mattress.

Well it’s been a long 18 months since we started this project, with problems from sourcing materials to planning issues BUT we are almost done👍👍

I will be uploading some photos soon so you can see what we have to offer and I’ll be updating the website so you can book with us.

We have 2 luxury lodges with magnificent views based in Broughton in Furness, Cumbria.

We’re on the home straight. The floors are down and the doors and windows are in. Many thanks to Jonny and the lads from Log Cabins Lakeland they have done a fantastic job. I can’t recommend them enough. 👍👍

All the cabins are now with us, weather is a bit rubbish this weekend so the next 2 will be built up next week, but the first cabin was made waterproof today. Brilliant job 💪
