Magical Mystical Pendle

Photographs of the beautiful, magical countryside of Pendle, home of the Pendle Witches, photographs of Mystical England, and enchanting photographs of North America and Caribbean. Pendle, a fascinating place, steeped in history, a wild moor, a wind that howls, a still sky, a bubbling stream, a broken wall, a stile leading across farmland, cottages with smoke curling out

of the chimneys, trodden paths, lonely trees and a creeping mist. All these things describe Pendle a land where over four hundred years ago people were accused of witchcraft, and tried and hung in Lancaster Castle. . More commonly referred to as Midsummer’s Night, Litha is believed to be a time when faeiry folk pass into the human world at Twilight and offer blessings.
