Perfect to unwind, enjoy activities and discover the very best coast, countryside and attractions on the Llyn Peninsula. Welcome to Ty'r Celyn

Ty’r Celyn is literally translated as ‘House of the Holly’, hence the name Holly Tree House. He was well known around the village and was always willing to help with many a long tales to be told over a cup of coffee. This area of Wales is really beautiful,

it has wonderful views with the sun setting over the sea and creating shadows on the mountains. The house is on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, so there are opportunities for walks where you can see the mountains in all their beauty and their different colours at all times of the year. The house is very close to the beach so just a short walk away is a great place to let your dogs run. Alternatively you can head further afield to Aberdesach, Nefyn, Pwllheli and Abersoch. You can also join the many footpaths and cycle routes exploring the Llyn Coastal Path down to Bardsey Island at the tip. There is plenty of history to be seen in the area, with castles at Caernarfon, Criccieth and Conwy. Also the Lloyd George Museum and National Trust Plas yn Rhiw are great places to visit. The house is quirky in that the living room is upstairs and there is a bedroom downstairs. Downstairs is floored with oak, salvaged from a church. The lovely galley kitchen has been recently replaced to give a modern cottage feel with oven, combi-microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and wine cooler. The bathroom has also been replaced so you can enjoy a bubble bath or take an invigorating shower in comfort. The dining room, with oak parquet floors and hand-crafted staircase up to the lounge, is flooded with natural light with the dining table taking centre stage for you to gather round, enjoy a meal or play cards and board games after dinner. Then you can relax in the lounge on the first floor with views over the garden and towards the coast. Settle down on the comfortable sofas, plan your holiday activities or watch a film on Sky TV. The master bedroom provides a king size bed adjoining the living room, whilst downstairs the twin bedroom can also be converted into a super-king if needed. Both have wonderfully comfy beds designed for a good nights sleep. The house is set in an acre of land, in which a local farmer grazes sheep. The garden has a wide variety of plants providing colour throughout the year. It has places to sit out and enjoy the sunset as well has have a cup of coffee of glass of wine.
