My favourite Green Man Festival performance was probably when we played in 2016, late-night on the Saturday at the Walled Garden. We played almost all the songs from Future Echoes, about a month before it came out. Was so exciting. Before we went on, we found a caravan nearby that was doing glitter facepaint - and of course I insisted that we all cover ourselves in the stuff before we went on. The band were, er, thrilled at the prospect. Hahaha. My beard never looked so good. Photos by Danny North.

Sad not to be rolling around those Welsh hills right now, BUT TONIGHT at 7PM i'm transmitting a live stream solo performance from the slightly less glamorous spot of my shed on Eigg, which is being shown on the Green Man Festival page, and on their YouTube. ✨💚
