Our first time this Summer at The Boy Ashore in Aberporth ~ in an idyllic spot overlooking Dyffryn beach (the big beach!)💛
Beautiful food, good wine & a chilled vibe.
I think this year is the best food yet..so good!! (we had the burger, arancini & prawns) 😋
It's a beachside bbq and bar. If there's a table, you can grab it. Otherwise, bring along a towel & enjoy your food on the beach ⛱️

~ May Day Coast Path Walk ~
The sun is shining here in West Wales so we made the most of it and got out for one of our favourite loops along the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path from St Tysilio, nr Cwmtydu. Taking in the beautiful National Trust Cymru beach coves at Pen-Y-Graig and Traeth Soden 🌊.
The colours of bluebells and gorse are stunning at the moment, and the sea is so clear 💙💛💜

We have had such an amazing afternoon sea kayaking from Aberporth beach,and the dolphins came out to play too!🐬
Cardigan Bay has one of the largest populations of bottlenose dolphins in Europe and you often see them from Aberporth and all along the coast 🐬

We’re a local family with a 6 year old little one, and it has always been a dream of ours to own a holiday cottage in our lovely little village.
In January 2018 we bought and completely renovated this beautiful 120 year old coastal cottage & apartment in the pretty coastal village of Aberporth, West Wales. It took a lot of hard work, love and attention, but by May 2018 we had created luxurious and cosy spaces, making the most of the spectacular sea and coastline views. Everything is fresh, new & finished to a high standard and we’re very proud of what we’ve achieved.
Coastal Cottage and Coastal Apartment are within walking distance of the stunning seaside award winning beaches, the local pub & the coastal path. Both have spectacular views across Cardigan Bay.
From here you can explore the miles of stunning, unspoilt West Wales coastline and countryside with it's beautiful beaches, towns, villages & Ceredigion Coastal Path. Cardigan Bay has one of the largest numbers of dolphins and you can often spot them from Aberporth and on the beautiful coastal path walk to neighbouring Tresaith, as well as seals and other marine wildlife. There are also great boat trips where you can get even closer to the dolphins from New Quay and Gwbert just down the road.
The 60 mile stretch of Ceredigion Coast Path is right on the doorstep which makes it an ideal base for a walking holiday, or to just walk part of the coastline, followed by a lunch in a cosy coastal pub. For a bit of an adventure you can enjoy sea kayaking, coasteering, surfing and many other watersports along Cardigan Bay.
The local town of Cardigan is just a 10 minute drive away and there are countless other beaches and villages within easy driving distance, including Tresaith, Penbryn, Llangrannog, Mwnt, New Quay & Aberaeron. If you’re feeling energetic you can walk the coastal path between them all. Pembrokeshire and it’s attractions are an easy day trip away too.
Ideal for families, couples & walkers, a holiday in Aberporth can be as action packed, or as relaxing as you like ~ it’s the perfect place to make some new memories and get away from it all.
