Over the moon to receive our latest fabulous Trip Advisor review.🥰These guests made an 11th hour last minute booking for a summer holiday break with their young family and were delighted with their find! This review is so so welcome, when we are pretty much running on burn out due to limited staffing levels as we are such a small site. It is such a wonderful feeling to feel that all the hard work that is put into running our site is truly valued. Thank you so much. ######xx

Last minute availability for this weekend in Fox pod. Saturday 17th to Monday 19th August only. It is a family cabin and pet friendly. This cabin also has the option to add on hot tub hire (6 seater electric hot tub). As our fish n chip shop is closed why not take advantage of the mobile fish n chip van which will be visiting on Friday up to 8pm in the village as its Dalston Festival week. 😊

We have been asked to come along to an event your having Friday and Saturday with the . Penriths multi award winning fish and chip van.
We currently can’t staff Saturday but are trying but defo their outside out old chip shop 14:00-20:00 Friday.

We have fabulous weather! It's hotting up for the weekend!

A polite reminder why we DO NOT allow Disposable bbq's on site. Someone has used one when staying in (Deer Pod), a couples cabin and not owned up to it, even worse they had hidden the damage so it wasnt easily identified. If we find anyone trying to use one of these it will be taken from them and disposed of. We found the damage as we are tirelessly working through outdoor tables and chairs to rejuvenate them now that we have fabulous weather with us. It costs enough in time and money to stain-maintain everything without incurring unnecessary replacement expenditure. We are experiencing hard enough economic challenges without this behaviour which is totally unacceptable😥😭

We are having some fabulous weather at the minute. Enjoy it while it lasts! Soak up some sun in a relaxing rural location close to a host of amenities with easy access to the Northern Lake District. You could even add on a hot tub to soak the aches and pains after a day walking or exploring in the lakes, taking in the stary nights with a lovely glass of bubbly. He is an example of one of our pet free family pods "Pheasant" but we do have pet friendly pods too! Plenty of availability for this weekend. Well its another fabulous weekend weather wise. The site is now coming together as the weather has improved. Following months of hard work by Andrew and Mike significantly improving the drainage and pathways, things are starting to look great. Still some finishing off to do as its continuous improvements. The hens are very happy in the newly cleaned out 5 star abode and happily lay eggs for ourselves and our guests. We now have the trampoline up and ready for use in time for the school half term. 😊

What a fabulous weekend we are having. Glorious weather, wall to wall sunshine. Such a shame only one couple will enjoy it here this weekend but i think thats us heading into our hot tub too! May as well chill and soak up the sun while we can! 🥰enjoy your weekends where ever you are. Take care. Xx
