For anyone interested in poking around the back lanes of Bayeux and the fields around Falaise, then IBEX is just for you. We don't do intense battlefield touring, marching you from place to place but rather spend time soaking up the atmosphere and seeking out the lesser known spots. Our itineraries can be put to together to accommodate particular interests from Band of Brothers to Pegasus Bridge.

I'm thinking of taking an informal tour to the Normandy battlefields later in 2019. This is a tour for amateurs and first timers who have always wanted to go but have never known where to start. No knowledge required just enthusiasm for the subject! Numbers are limited but accommodation is in a lovely converted Cider Farm on the Cherbourg peninsula with its own 1940’s British pub! Anyone who might be interested is welcome to post an expression of interest so i can guage numbers. For more details on itinerary, please get in touch. Cheers.

During our Operation Deadstick tour, we follow in the Footsteps of D Company, 2nd Battalion, Ox and Bucks Light Infantry as they captured Pegasus Bridge in the opening minutes of DDay.
