I’m not convinced what is most impressive yet,…. My magnificent BRAND NEW v class Mercedes (biased!) or the stunning 14th century Market cross in Castle Combe? 😉😍 Either way they make a great picture! But this is the amazing machine you will be touring with me in the future - it really doesn’t get any better!

It’s been an incredible day today, laying dads ashes at the golf club he was a member at and loved so much. Dad was a member of a group called the ‘Wednesday nighters’, a group of golfers devoted to golf and friendly banter on a Wednesday evening. We said our farewell to dad today spreading his ashes under neath an oak tree oayed by the Wednesday nighters. I am so pleased that he had so many friends that came to be with us to say goodbye. Thank you so much much.

I have grown up in the Cotswolds pretty much all my life, and that’s a long time!! This is one of my favourite views, from my village called Luckington, where my parents first moved to in 1970. I went to primary school here, I met my wife Kerry in the local pub - the Old Royal Ship, and we were married in the beautiful church. But I love this view of the old barn and the valley - I stopped here this morning to take this photo - I hope you like it!

This is the fishing village of Staithes, along the North Yorkshire Moors where I am this week. We are walking several parts of the Cleveland way exploring lovely villages like this and birdwatching, oh and eating the most fabulous fresh seafood of course!!!!
