Holiday Cottages in Clevedon
The cottages and the adjacent Clevedon Craft Centre were originally a working farm, Newhouse farm, where Judy was born and the family still reside in the original farmhouse. In 2000 Summerhayes the first of the holiday cottages was a conversion of the natural stone built cowshed, then over the next few years another conversion followed, The Milking Parlour, and as t
he name suggests this was where the cows were brought for milking. Close to the motorway for easy access to all areas in and around Somerset, Bristol 12 miles away, Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar, Wookey Hole and Wells all with easy reach. We have tried to retain the character of the buildings with sympathetic refurbishing but modern facilities in very pleasant surroundings, each cottage has its own garden ready for barbecues. There is also a recently finished Bed and Breakfast, a one bed on-suite, self contained for anybody wishing a short stay. We provide plenty of parking close to accomodation and have tried to provide for wheelchair access. The Craft Centre is adjacent to the cottages where artists and craftworkers display there work, well worth a look around, maybe an unusual present to take home or perhaps you may wish to do a course while you are here
Our family has been here for over 60 years, we offer a warm and friendly welcome, somewhere for you to relax and enjoy your stay.
