Mountain view Lodge in the beautiful Preseli's in Pembrokeshire National Park - is available for the Summer, it slps 2-5 in 3 bedrooms, and has great views, wood-burning stove, and heaps of charm, it is light and airy and a truly relaxing space to stay. Through the garden gate is a firepit with seating, sheep and wild ponies grazing and the ancient stone circle at Gors Fawr just 5 minutes walk away.

We have one place still available for this weekend, here at Trallwyn in Pembrokeshire, the Room with a view, a simple room, hidden in the larch trees and overlooking the wonderful wild moor. Ideal for lone travellers. There is direct access through the garden gate to the moor, mountains and ancient Gors Fawr stone circle just 5 minutes walk away. It has a single bed and a kettle, and a shared rustic outdoor kitchen and shared shower/loo facilities.It is one of a number of quirky places to stay here at Trallwyn. Ideal for those who want a retreat, and to immerse themselves in nature.
Availability June, July, August + September.

We have a Long Term Let becoming available in one of our cottages here at Trallwyn, in the Preseli Hills, in Pembrokeshire, just a small place called Trallwyn Cottage for 1-2 people. It has a living room that goes up to the eave's of the roof, with a Jotul woodburner + a sofa and table + chairs + rocking chair. There are steep stairs going up to a small sleeping loft with a double mattress. It also has a small kitchen, bathroom, + a tiny single bedroom. There is a very small porch area for boots + coats + a few storage cupboards of the hallway. outside there is a small garden area just for the cottages, as well as communal gardens + direct access to the moor and mountains. Please note the photos are from when it was a holiday let, and it has been a long term home for a few years now so it looks a bit different than the photos. As we are like a small community of people here, we like to have people we think will fit in best living here. We are looking for people who enjoy gardening, and live a quiet life, and who love to be in nature, also ideal for someone who might be interested in a some cleaning work here in the main season, as we still do a few holidays.

Fancy a free holiday in April?

Staying in our lovely Yurt with a toasty woodtove, in exchange for work here at Trallwyn Cottages? We are open to payment, part payment, or no payment exchanges. We are in a very beautiful part of Pembrokeshire - the stunning and wild Preseli Hills - and just 5 minutes walk from Gors Fawr ancient stone- circle. The work exchange we are looking for is garden clearing and weeding, fence repairs and carpentry, and other maintenance, + strimming, mostly outdoor work. It does rain a fair bit here so please bring your wellies and your own wet weather gear! We also love music round the firepit on a dry evening, so musicians are most welcome!!

Exchanges of 4 days or more, ideally 7-10 days, and yes even in the Easter Holidays! Early in the season our Yurt is £350 per week for 2 people staying or £420 for 4 people. We provide logs for the first fire, and after that you can buy more locally. It has a woodstove and it's own simple kitchen with 2 gas rings, fridge and crockery, pots etc And a 3 minute shower, plus it's own compost toilet, all within a small dell in the gardens, there is direct access to the moor!

Availability: 1st-12th April + 15th-29th April

We also offer exchanges in the Bolthole which is a tiny tiny space from £25 a night or in a few of our other small spaces as well. Get in touch with Anna to find out more. Also we would consider a longer term stay for the right person.

Most of out holiday cottages have now become Long term rentals so we mainly have our quirky small places available for holidays now, apart from Trallwyn Bach Cottage studio which is still a Holiday Let.

If you want to come for a regular holiday that is fine too!!

End to a lovely day, Stewart is here for a short but sweet visit, we had Sunday roast at the Cliff Hotel, and a really good catch up, followed by sunning ourselves in a sheltered cove and a quick dip in the sea, and then back home for a fire and a sing as the sunsets beyond the hills, my kind of a day

The tops of the Preseli's like islands just above the clouds

A stunning day, photo taken a few years ago....Standing at the top of Foel Cwmcerwyn looking east across Carn Sian, with Foel Drygarn and Frenni Fawr like islands in the mist ....Way off on the horizon the Cambrian mountains are just visible .....
I just sat there for hours slowly cooking myself in the sun....
It took a long time for the dragon's breath to clear that day and it struck me about all those people down below in the fog looking out thinking it was a grey day out there....Only a couple of hundred metres above was a scene like this to be found .. 😊
