A spacious 1 kingsize bedroom with original features, including log burner for those cosy evenings in our fabulous lounge/diner.
Fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fully fitted bathroom & boot room.
Dog friendly & right on the doorstep of the Forest of Dean, for walks, cycling, even canoeing or kayaking.
Great pub just up the road & Coleford just 2 miles away with shops, restaurants & supermarkets.

We also have our other cottages Old Bakery & Home Cottage, both 2 bedroomed, available to book.

Well, after a long 9 months- we have made
'Our Escape to the Country'

Welcome to The House of Bread holiday cottages, our new adventure.
Finally, we have our new website up & running, instagram coming soon.
Check us out, if you fancy a break in the hidden gem that is the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. We have two cosy character cottages that sleep 4 with 2 bedrooms in each. Dogs very welcome.
We are a 5 min walk from the Forest & 5 min drive to Symonds Rock, area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. So for walking, cycling, canoeing & even fishing we are centrally located.
Market town of Coleford, the centre for the Forest of Dean is 2 miles away & picturesque Monmouth is only 5 miles away.
