Hi all, as the sale has been completed and the new owners set to take over I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has came along to my groups, events and booked with me as well as those who have helped with everything. I've met so many wonderful people and I've had an absolute blast watching it go from a small little baby group with 3 people attending to the full scale of having 100 people attend, then to divert into the soft play I've absolutely loved it all and it's with a heavy heart I finally let go. Maybe one day when my life quietens down then I may be back but for now it's a goodbye and thank you ❤️ x x x

Very reluctantly I have to announce that the decision has been made to close Splatterkids. It's not something I wanted to do but life being what it is I just can't devote the time to it, unfortunately.

I am selling the business as a whole - all the soft play sets, the add-ons, the extras, the name and the goodwill - for £3,000. If you are interested, or know someone who is, please get in touch.

When you book with us you are agreeing to use the equipment as directed. These rules are made available to you during booking, and are explained in person when your equipment is delivered. We want your children to have the best possible experience, at the cheapest possible price.

General information:-

A) We will do our best to supply the items you have booked, but reserve the right to substitute one soft play set for another if, for example, the one you have chosen is damaged and we can no longer supply it.

B) A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required to secure your booking, and can be paid by bank transfer or PayPal, whichever you prefer.

C) The balance is payable on delivery, preferably by cash but bank transfer and PayPal are accepted.

D) We offer free delivery within a given area. Delivery outside that area is charged at 20p per mile for 2 return trips.

E) Delivery/ collection is on a drop off / pick up basis. We do not set the soft play equipment up for you as it impacts our other deliveries. For the avoidance of doubt "drop off" means we will deliver the bagged equipment to you and leave it in the designated room for you to arrange according to your needs. "Pick up" means we expect the equipment to be bagged up as much as possible so that we can collect with minimum disruption to yourself.

F) Delivery times are usually between 9am and 11am, with collection after 5pm, for a single day hire, or during school hours for an extended hire.

G) All items will be inspected after collection. We accept that there will be wear and tear but if we discover any damage caused by wilful, malicious or negligent actions on your behalf we will seek to recover the costs of repair or replacement of those damaged items.

H) If any equipment is returned wet there will be a damage charge of £100, payable within 7 days of the date of hire. Failure to pay within this time will result in court action.

When hiring any of our soft play sets, games set, construction set or wiggle cars you are agreeing:-

A) The soft play set, construction set or games set CANNOT be used outside in the rain.

B) The soft play set, construction set or games set CANNOT be used outside near a paddling pool, swimming pool, hose pipe, water pistols or any other sources of water.

C) Any damage spotted during use must be bought to our attention, either by phone or when collected.

D) All items must be used for their normal purposes - don't try using the wiggle cars as a skateboard, for example.

E) No shoes or any footwear other than socks is to be used on the mats or any other equipment.

F) No food or drink is to be consumed on, in or around the equipment. Smoking around the equipment is strictly prohibited. Although the equipment is suitable for all ages it is not to be used by those under the influence of alcohol or any illicit substances.

By booking with us you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Hi everyone 😃 I know it's been very quiet on here but we are still doing bookings and have had some lovely feedback from satisfied customers.

We have some good news and some bad news. The good news is we are actively looking at venues with the plan to reopen our groups and this time we are hoping to be able to have the soft play as well 🤩 More news on that as we get it.

Now for the bad news. Despite it being very clear in the terms and conditions, and being told at the point of making a booking, that the soft play cannot be used outside in the rain, unfortunately equipment has been damaged once again. As a result of this the terms and conditions have been altered to include a damage penalty of £100. This only applies if, upon collection, equipment is wet, so please don't worry about any accidental damage caused by your little ones enjoying the soft play, you won't be charged for that.

**PRICE DROP!!!!!**

Hi all sorry I've been so quiet on here, time isn't on my side anymore but I will try to do better and start posting (if you know me personally though you'll be laughing at that as you know I'll still remain quiet but busy 😂)

So, the last 18mths has been truly insane with how many changes I've had to make, my personal life being...well let's just say a mess 🙈 but I've been so grateful for all of the bookings I've had and hearing time and time again how many children have loved the equipment 😍😍

To add to the crazy I'm starting a new job shortly but I'm just not able to stop doing what I love doing here 😍😍 So much so actually that I've made the choice to drop our prices 😍😍

Day hires are now £50 and an extended weekend hire is £70 (drop off on a Friday after 3.30pm and pick up on a Sunday or Monday-times to be considered)

However, due to my work commitments and my children’s sporting lives, I will only be able to hire out these 2 sets, one being as a daily hire and the other used as an extended weekend hire. I can only commit to doing one daily hire on a Saturday and one on Sundays so make sure you get your dates booked in fast as these sets are so very much loved and so will be booked up quickly with lots of dates already spoken for!!! (School holidays will be different with midweek hires being available too)

Our Halloween crafts are back 😍🧟‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧙‍♀️👺😈🥰 Each craft comes pre-cut and individually packaged with everything you need to complete these festive delights with ease 🥰 The smaller set is £5 and the larger one is £12.50, collection is Keresley village which is preferable but delivery can be made at a small charge, postcode depending. Bit of an unusual post but I need your help ❤ my son plays football for an up and coming team at Bedworth United and they need kit to feel like a complete team ❤ so to help raise money to cover the cost of the clothing I'm asking for donations and in return you'll be given a number which will then be drawn for a soft play hire of your choice 🥰 no matter whether it's simply £1, £10 or more, all donations will receive a number and 100% of the money will be going towards the kids football kits/jackets etc ❤ it would mean so much to all of us parents seeing our children firstly warm whilst playing lol but always to feel like a fully fledged team ❤ if you're in a position to donate then please pop a comment on here or message the page where we'll help you out 🥰 This will be left up for a few weeks and notice will be given for when the winning number will be drawn. Apologies for being so quiet on here recently. I know that people are having problems finding pictures of our soft play sets so I'm going to do several posts.

First, the prices though.

We offer two options for hire.

1) We can do a single day hire, with delivery after 9am and collection after 5pm, for £60, excluding any potential delivery charges.

2) We can also do an extended hire, from Friday to Monday, or Tuesday to Thursday, with delivery and collection during school hours - we can be flexible and offer other days for delivery and collection, just send a message and see if we have availability - for £80, excluding any potential delivery charges. You are welcome to take the equipment to a venue during the hire period.

We still have our games set, construction set and our wiggle cars.

1) A single day hire is £10 per set when hired with a soft play set, or £30 each when hired on their own - we do offer a discount for more than one set.

2) An extended hire is £15 per set when hired with a soft play set, or £50 each when hired on their own - we do offer a discount for more than one set.

So here it is!!! Huge apology for not sharing this sooner!! Totally slipped my mind 🙈 from the funday we did back in August we raised an incredible £435 for Baby Godiva charity 😍😍 unfortunately it should have been £470 but the dog that was won did not follow through unfortunately but £435 raised for an amazing charity is still a ginormous help and went towards buying their van for collections/deliveries 🥰 so thank you all once again for making that happen for them!!!!! Next year we'll make it bigger and better so keep your eyes out and you can help pick a charity to fundraise for too 🥰🥰 Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!! x x x

Hi all we've made it to the end of the year!!! Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has booked with us, supported us, shown their patience and came along to the funday (I will put up a post in a moment as I've realised I didn't share how much we raised!!)

This year has certainly been a hectic, chaotic one for me personally with lots of changes but I was determined to fulfil my promise at the start of the year with keeping the prices as they were until the end despite petrol prices rocketing and needing to pay some people for their help.

Without the help of my incredible family I honestly would not have been able to continue over the last few months, as well as my rockstar kids who help me with bookings too!

As we near the start of the new year I need to put some big changes in place in order to continue with the soft play in a way that works around my kids as a single mum.

Unfortunately I am no longer able to do the bouncy castles as medically I am not safe to do these so a humongous apology for that as I know lots of you book both together 😔

In regards to the soft play, I am only going to be able to do one venue booking on each weekend day in order to be able to take my son to his football matches and spend some quality time with them with as little disruption taking them with me. Venue bookings will only be done on a drop off/pick up basis as my children can help with that (setting up with a 2yo on tow doesn't work 😂) venue bookings will be £60 due to the huge increase in petrol prices and can only be sets 1, 2 and 3 (set 4 cannot fit in my car with the kids)

The soft play sets can be hired for the full weekend where you can enjoy the equipment in your own home with the option of bringing it to a venue yourself (with a bit of organisation sets 1, 2 and 3 fit in my mums rover along with the construction set to give you an idea of the space it takes up) a roof bag will be provided if you need it too (I can get my 4 kids in my car with the sets mentioned above as well as the construction set and games set whilst using the roof bag too) Weekend bookings will be delivered daytime whilst my kids are at school on a Thursday or Friday with collection being done on a Monday or Tuesday. Weekend hires will be £80.

Midweek hires will be the same as the venue hires at £60 for a day.

The games and construction add ons will stay at the optional extra of £10 each to add on but will be £30 to book separately again to reflect on the petrol prices rocketing. An inventory will be done upon every hire of these now where any lost or broken equipment will need to be returned or replaced (on average each tool for the construction set costs £8 and they are forever going missing as are the bricks which is around £60 for just 25) a hire of just £10 as an add on does not cover the cost of missing equipment hence now an inventory with liability for missing equipment is now in order.

I love what I do, I adore hearing the feedback of how much the children enjoy the equipment and I hope this way I can continue doing it in a way that works for myself and own children 🤞 As an extra, all reviews left in the new year whether positive or negative will be given a 10% off your next hire so we can start seeing more regular reviews being left 😊 I'm always hearing in messages and on collection about how children have enjoyed the equipment but it doesn't reflect on the review section unfortunately as not everyone leaves a review. As they say, if there is something negative people are quick to write about it but not so much of the positive so with a 10% off a following booking then maybe we can start seeing more reviews 😊 but even if it is negative I still want to see it and you will still receive the discount so there is no coercion occurring 😊

I don't even know where to begin with this apology 😔😔😔 unfortunately due to lack of interest I'm having to cancel the Christmas event 😔😔😔 with the interest we've had it would only cover 1/3 of the room hire and I'm just not in a financial position to cover costs 😢 previous events as I said it has never been a factor as I'm more than happy to continue the events even if left out of pocket but this year I'm just not in the position to be able to do it 😭 I cannot apologise enough and I understand how bad this looks. The venue are being incredibly understanding though and she has said I can use my deposit paid for a date next year so once I'm in a financial position to cover costs regardless of tickets sold I will 100% make an event happen there! X x x

Please remember this is a ticketed event as places are limited. We've not sold many yet despite seeing lots of comments on the posts throughout fb groups. At the moment we have nowhere near covered the costs of the room hire alone 😔😔 unfortunately I have made the decision that by Friday next week if I haven't sold enough tickets then I will need to cancel the event 😭 I can't justify spending out a fortune on resources etc and the sheer amount of time spent prepping if we won't cover costs. This has never been a factor for previous events and has never mattered to me whether I cover costs or not but now I'm on my own with the kids I can't spend hours upon hours prepping instead of being with them if I won't cover costs as I'm sure you'll understand. Because of the risk of the event potentially being cancelled I WILL NOT be taking anymore payments in advance. All I need is a yes I'm coming and with however many adults/children so I can gauge whether the event can go ahead or not. If we have enough interest then we'll look at payments to guarantee places but for now I just need to know how many are coming. Thank you for understanding! X x x

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!! I'm absolutely gutted that my results came back negative (which is a good thing mind) but that I had to cancel the Halloween one!!!! I'm so so sorry everyone but I need to cancel the Halloween event 😭😭😭 I've tested positive on a lateral flow test so I need to do a PCR one 😭😭 I may get the results back in time before Saturday but I wouldn't have time to get all of the prep done for the messy play, finish the shopping for the crafts and prep it plus sanitising the equipment so I think it's far fairer on everyone to cancel the event and refund payments instead of waiting until the last minute to see what the results show. I'm absolutely devastated and can't apologise enough!!!! I'll be in touch with everyone who has paid and arrange refunds over the next 2 days x x x
