After what seems like a long winter, it’s great to see and feel the sun again!

A 20 minute drive along the coast to Abersoch for a lovely spring afternoon on the beach, followed by coffee and a cake and of course everyone had an ice cream. 😎

Watching the hairy bikers tour our area and sample the local produce, we’re reminded of how we should make the most of life’s opportunitites.

The smile on Dave’s face as drove a steam train on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway, absolutely Priceless. 🧡

Exciting news - our village now has a shop 🤩

The very cute and very handy little siop is set in the grounds of Tafarn Y Plu, our village community run pub pub.

and this is what the people who run it have to say;

“We’re very pleased to be able to offer this service to the people of Llanystumdwy and beyond, all made possible due to the support of Menter Môn.

🫙 What kinds of produce do we have for sale? Everything! We have delicious Blas ar Fwyd produce, local meat from Povey’s, milk in glass bottles from Glyn Llefrith and much more. Go take a look!

Today’s train trip down the coast from Criccieth to Barmouth for a walk over the longest timber viaduct in Wales and along the Mawddach trail.

A lovely flat walk along a disused railway line following the Mawddach estuary inland towards Dolgellau. Stunning scenery under blue skies.

Whether you walk or cycle, this is a great active day out. 😎
