Full overhaul of a laptop, including new casing top & bottom, & full clean up of the laptop, thermal paste, new ssf hard drive & more been ongoing for a month due to resources & parts being obtained from abroad for such an old laptop.

Complex job recently completed in 1 week. 3 new hard drives installed, windows 10 installed, data backed up and reversed back to new ssd drives. Cleaned fully in and out. What a job. As it was very dusty & built up everywhere. But now ready for collection.

PC fully cleaned - complete with 2 new ssd drives & 1 HDD installed, windows 10 Pro, 30gb ram upgraded from 6gb. Thermal paste checked, data backup from old drive to new transfer to new drive, dust built up was quite bad but with my air compressor I blasted it all out.
Finally finished it after 1.5 weeks working on it.

Waiting on delivery of a new thermal liquid cooler, as current one overheated & blew the fan inside due to the liquid dried out over the years. Should be with me in next 24 hrs & fitted with fresh thermal paste & wired up ready to go.

pcspecialist, Geforce RTX pc for repair.

Customer pulled all wires out not sure why, and replaced the power supply unit (PSU).

Had to rewire, tidy cables ul as much as possible, and take the BIOS battery out and reset the BIOS altogether as became a non starter machine, due to being shorted somewhere.

Happy to say this is one pc that's going home after a slight operation with the "Computer Medic".

Been a bit lazy to upload this last month of images of work completed. But here is a laptop worked on few days ago, and is now back to the customer happy as well. Had to strip entire laptop down & rebuild from a new keyboard unit purchased from Poland not once but twice as 1st one was not compatible, 2nd one was. Anyway was a joy to work on this one and in return for not only getting paid for it, but I was handed 1 macbook Pro, 3 Windows laptops to keeps, to repair or scrap or whatever. So thanks for that.

Just a few, jobs from over the last 2 weeks. Microsoft Surface Pro unlocked with new bios chip programmed & windows installed. Liquid damaged devices several with red wine, water & orange juice spilt, fully cleaned and now rightfully back with owner.

If you have a laptop or apple mac that failed, due to liquid damage all is not lost.
At Croydon Computer Medic we can strip it down, fully clean & dry, and replace components on board level. So before you panic over thst spilt glass of water or coffee or tea, get in touch. It might be cheaper thsn you think to repair.

Ongoing project - new keyboard to the left & old to the right, need to swap over the inside parts to the new keyboard. This was done due to the keyboard being faulty.
