With spring around the corner and normality returning to hospitality we are now looking to recruit!

We are pleased to now advertise for two new members of staff.

1. A kitchen assistant / commis chef to join our team. (college leaver or school leaver (apprenticeship) with a passion to learn or maybe you have some commercial kitchen experience already and just looking for a change)

In return we will offer a 4 or 5 day working week, hourly pay & equal tip share for all shifts, 20 days holiday and 8 paid bank holidays, uniform and training.

2. Part time (approx 16 hours) Front of house assistant to serve our customers (both bar and food service) With the position including alcohol service you must be 18 or over to apply.

Masses of experience is not essential for either role as you will undergo 'on the job' training if required but you must already have the ability to follow instruction and work at speed.

You must be prepared to work evenings and weekends and you must have a suitable means of transport to and from Lyng as there is no public transport.

The Fox is a small hardworking team and if you think you would like to come and join us we look forward to hearing from you.

To avoid disappointment (on an evening particularly,) we would kindly ask you to call and book a table before arrival.

We are incredibly busy at the moment and combined with summer holidays we have had to turn many people away...
We obviously don’t like doing that!

We do have a large beer garden and you are welcome to enjoy drinks but without a reservation you may not be able to order food until a certain time. Our pre booked guests will take priority.

We may have the tables but we have only a certain amount of chefs and front of house staff and only two ovens, it's logistics when working in a small kitchen!

We look forward to hearing from you soon and if we are too busy to answer the phone we promise to return your call as soon as possible, leave a slowly spoken, clear message with your name and number and please bear with us!
