Our site in Bundalloch has 2 en-suite luxury Wigwams, they are situated off a quiet single track road with stunning views up Loch Long towards the natural beauty of the mountains above Camusluinie & the Falls of Glomach, reputedly the most dramatic in Britain. Bundalloch is no more than 1 mile up the road from the village of Dornie, where the world renowned Eilean Donan Castle is situated and the
3 lochs meet, Loch Long, Loch Duich & Lochalsh. There is many a beautiful walk to be had within walking distance of the Wigwams, but it is only a 20 minute drive to Morvich, where you can enjoy many more walks, for all levels of ability including the range The Five Sisters of Kintail (www.walkhighlands.co.uk/kintail/kintail.shtml)
A 15 minute drive in the opposite direction from Dornie takes you to Kyle of Lochalsh, where you can take the bridge across to the Isle of Skye, where there are many natural beautiful spots including the Old Man of Storr, Neist Point and the mountain range the Cullins. An alternative route is over to Glenelg to take the ferry over the sea to Skye to Kylerhea, where there is also an Otterhaven visitor attraction. Kyle of Lochalsh has a leisure centre with adjacent outdoor play park - the village also has the doctors surgery, dentist, pharmacy and other shops. You can also go on glass bottom boat tours of the coastal areas close by. Further attractions that are not too far a drive are the Attadale Gardens, which you would pass when travelling to Lochcarron to then maybe visit the stunning village of Applecross. Dornie Wigwams make an excellent base for either touring around Skye & Lochalsh and surrounding areas, a relaxing family holiday or for enjoying the many walks the area has to offer.
