The beautiful Hengistbury Head where Harry was going to build his own castle. He tried to buy Highcliffe Castle from Sir Stuart Wortley but his offer was rejected, so he bought 333 acres from Sir George Meyrick and set about plans for his new home.

Highcliffe Castle which Harry rented from 1916 to 1922 from Sir Stuart Wortley. It was in such a poor state of repair when the family moved in that Harry spent about a million pounds in todays money renovating the interior new heating , lighting and bathrooms and kitchen.
