Good evening folks. Retail has changed a lot and Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping street I'd say has changed for the worse. I'd like to put together a retail/department store tour of old Edinburgh.

If anybody remembers shopping in/working in/has stories to tell of the likes of stores such as those below it would be much appreciated. I'd like to put together such a bit different and anything you have would be very much appreciated. Best Wishes. Brian.

How do you like them apples?

Unfortunately, our run as Edinburgh CAMRA Pub of the Year came to an end in 2023. The award deservedly went to the Jolly Judge. I'm confident our standards haven't slipped, it's just a reflection on the great work that Adam and his team are doing in the Judge.

We did, however - rather bizarrely - come Runner-Up in the Cider Pub of the Year category 🍎

Any excuse for a party - we'll be celebrating this Friday with Music Bingo, plenty of songs about combine harvesters (I used to drive one, I'll have you know), and maybe even some cider.
