he famous Christmas swim, in summer the glistening sea entices you to the shore - and all year round, fabulous sunsets! It is at the western gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, and at the mouth of the picturesque River Exe estuary (which has world recognition as a haven for birds and wildlife) with a hinterland of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty and its ancient PebbleBed Heaths. Safe swimming, water sports and boat cruises from the beautiful sandy beach; coastal and countryside walking and cycling; touring either by public or private transport; all can be enjoyed at Exmouth.
