Super to see the PS Waverley passing through Corran Narrows this morning, on a pleasure cruise from Fort Wiliam for first time in a decade.
The Waverley is the last sea-going / passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world.

Ardgour is the settlement & beautiful area located immediately on the other side of the Corran Narrows of Loch Linnhe.
It's within easy walking distance from Inchree, just 5 minutes on foot to the ferry slipway, followed by a crossing of just a few minutes.
There's several watering holes and eateries located there for folk to enjoy. Here's a super new promo video outlining them.

The narrows are a 10 minute walk from the chalets, with ferry free to walkers & cyclists. There are beach & woodland walks to enjoy on the Ardgour side.

Cruise ship day yesterday. This is the MS Artania leaving Lochaber, passing through Corran Narrows, Loch Linnhe’s narrowest point, & a 5 minute walk from Inchree.
The Artania, which visited in 2019, may well take the accolade of biggest civilian ship to pass through the Narrows, at over 44,000 tonnage.

This is the MS Amera on it’s way to Fort William, and is one of the larger cruise ships, at just under 40,000 tonnage, to pass through Loch Linnhe’s narrowest part.
