Welcome to Wordsworth barn – a contemporary 17th Century barn conversion in the heart of the Lake District. Offering luxury, 5 star gold “boutique” style accommodation just for two and is ready for romantic short breaks and longer holidays. Wordsworth Barn has been converted using stylish accessories and local materials – such as Kirkstone slate floors, Herdwick wool carpets and individual art fro

m local craftspeople.This very well equipped property has oil central heating through out with additional log burner. The barn has an idyllic location on the outskirts of the picturesque Lake District village of Patterdale, on the shores of Ullswater. Once owned by the well known poet William Wordsworth, it offers stylish and contemporary accommodation – a real home from home. None smoking or va**ng. Sorry no pets.

After today’s announcement I now have the green light to be able to open Wordsworth Barn on the 12th April...and very much looking forward to welcoming my new and returning guests.
