I'm back and wow...Delicious Mauritius!🇲🇺 ❤️

Our chosen hotel was a stunning tropical paradise with secluded creeks, and was simply amazing! The food, accomodation, and top notch service spoilt us from start to finish.

This island has something for everyone whether it be for couples, families, weddings, honeymooners and of course, not forgetting the golfers amongst you! So much to see and do on the island...

We were personally invited to the managers cocktail party, met my lovely clients for lunch during their stay, had a private BBQ and a beautiful evening, with my wonderful managing director, also out there celebrating 🍾.

Many special memories made❤️

Yesterday was a mini adventure to Amsterdam! 🇳🇱
Both of us had never been (unbelievable we know!).
Trains were amazingly efficent, and our day filled itself with the many canals, Dam Square, Red Light District, waffles and a Canal Tour 🥰

With a constant thirst for training and networking events, Monday evening saw me head into Birmingham, for a fantastic event focused solely on Japan 🇯🇵🌸

Meeting up with not only specialised suppliers, but also the Japan National Tourist Office, Okinawa tourism and many hoteliers plus a glamping company!

Japan is a must-see destination, well known for its Golden Route and cherry blossom season, but did you know you can do also do walking and cycling tours, food tours, and its one of the top ski destinations for the UK Market!

Day 5 Thailand fam 🇹🇭

Our last day to explore....
En route from Khao Lak to Phuket we stopped at the Phuket Sarasin Bridge, followed by the stunning Samed Nangshe View point, overlooking Phang Nga Bay and the beautiful islands. A super Thai lunch with the amazing panoramic views, not too shabby for a Monday morning!

Our final hotel stay on our Thailand 🇹🇭 Designer Travel fam was the Banyan Tree Phuket

The Sarojin Day 3 and 4 🇹🇭

🌿Our home has been here for the last 2 nights and what a place it was! Stepping into the calm tranquil setting you instantly relax.... This boutique property is set within lush tropical gardens, with everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

👐The hotel was brand new and nearly ready to open when the devestating Tsunami wiped everything out, and they had to start again. They name the rooms after the original staff that worked so tirelessly to open this beautiful property.
Run prodiminantly by a local team, supported and rewarded by the hotel there is a strong sustainability message throughout.
The attention to detail and service levels are outstanding.

🥂 Have a special occasion to celebrate this hotel can offer private dining on sight, on the beach, on an island or by a waterfall, which I visited

You can see why this hotel is popular with repeat guests 💗

Today we were able to take a pause and chill a little.

🍳A slow morning was had by all with a beautiful late brunch (all day breakfast available so no pressure).

💆‍♀️ Some choose to test the spa facilities and opt for massages at the 'pathways spa'

🏞Some of us headed to the local Sai Rung waterfall a 10 min taxi or 25 min cycle away, then back for a walk along the beach.

Food here was just incredible!
I was very sad to leave this hotel this morning...

Day 3 🇹🇭 Thailand

🐒 We visited Suwan Kuha Temple, famously known as the Monkey Temple. Located within a cave, there were many Hindu statues to be seen along with the stalactite formations, not to mention the monkeys surrounding the area causing mischief.

🚣‍♀️ We then headed to Koh Panyee, a floating village within Phang Nga Bay by long-tail boat. Beautiful scenery throughout our boat ride via the mangroves to the island, spotting flying fish and exotic birds along the way. We took a walk through the village, and saw James Bond island not too far away, and finished off with a buffet lunch.

We then headed back to Khao Lak to our next property 🥰🫶..

Destination Asia DMC

Day 2 in Thailand 🇹🇭

We took an excursion 'unseen eco plus' from our hotel with Destination Asia.

🛶 We headed to the 'The Little Amazon', the hidden forest of Takuapa where we boarded Canoes and paddled through the canals seeing all the tropical plants, birds and other wildlife.
🏞We then headed to Tam Nang Water fall part of the Si phang nga national park, a short stroll through the rainforest bought us to the stunning waterfall and a chance for those to have a dip.
🍚 For lunch we stopped at a authentic restaurant on the lake for some tasty local food.

After a quick freshen up we headed out for our a site visit at a neighbouring hotel.

Today's hotel and excursion took it up a notch further.. keep watching.....❤️

A long first day but after 2 planes ✈️ and a transfer 🚌 we are in beautiful Khao lak at Devasom Khao Lak Beach Resort & Villas

🍃This small boutique property, surrounded by all nature has to offer, river, jungle and sea.... it does not disappoint!

🛌All the rooms are beautifully presented offering a fusion of character, warm touches and modern twists.

The staff greeted us with some welcome drinks on our arrival, tasty treats for lunch, after our site visit. Following a quick freshen up, we enjoyed a sound bath session in a beautiful studio, one of the many experiences offered by the hotel. Later we joined the management team at the hotel for a beautiful tasting menu of Thailand... just pure luxury ❤️

Today has been full of adventure and tomorrow we move on... keep an eye out for more

National Highway has issued a warning to all customers flying from Manchester Airport throughout June, July & August, to leave extra time for travel after announcing that parts of the M56 between junctions 5 & 6 will be closed during specific dates for resurfacing slip roads as well as replacing road markings and bridge joints.
