Whether it’s adventure or relaxation you seek, Suffolk has plenty on offer; big, open skies, long beaches, golf, heathland and history. We can source many different activities to suit your needs and Heath View is ideally situated within easy access of them all. Awarded Four Star Gold and Visit England’s prestigious Rose Award, our bungalow is set amidst acres of natural conservation heathland on a

peaceful private lane. The fourth bedroom has independent access from the main house, ideal for teenagers or carers. Our eldest daughter is a full-time wheelchair user, so we fully appreciate the difficulties of finding holiday accommodation that really does have what it says. We lived in Heath View while we built our existing home (which is next door), so we modified and renovated it to suit our daughter’s needs. Since then we have done further work and refurbishment to accommodate different levels of ability. Please contact us with any questions or specific needs.

With regret, We are closing Heath View as a Holiday Home. This is due to rising costs, including energy costs, but also my own ill health.

We have throughly enjoyed sharing our little corner of Suffolk and are sad not to be able to provide the service for those with mobility needs and disabilities as well as families who have returned year after year.

Exciting news… we have stayed up late to officially announce Felixstowe beach (Felixstowe South and Pier) is flying high for a second year in a row after being named as one of the country's best beaches by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, joining an elite of seaside towns scooping the prestigious Blue Flag and Seaside Awards in 2021. To be awarded a Blue Flag, beaches must comply with several criteria covering environmental education and information, water quality, environmental management, safety, and services. Both the Blue Flag and Seaside Award flags will be raised and flying from this Saturday 15 May. This has been our favourite place for takeaway over lockdown. Superb food and service. Cant recommend highly enough to all our Heath View guests coming over the next months. Book early for outside seating to avoid disappointment!
