Carraig Mhor Bed and Breakfast is centrally in Lamlash with stunning views over Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle, this is the perfect place to stay. Carraig Mhor, Gaelic for 'Large Rock', is named after Holy Isle, which dominates the view from many of our windows. The view is stunning, regardless of the weather; constantly changing but always beautiful. It quite literally catches your breath at times and

no matter how often you look the temptation to stop and stand awhile is constantly present. At Carraig Mhor the beds are comfy, dressed in luxurious fabrics with plump pillows. Breakfasts are extra special, freshly cooked with local ingredients, choose full Scottish or a Carraig Mhor 'special'. 'Waverley' (sea view) and 'Glen' (hill view) rooms are each in their own private corridor. The house itself dates back to the late 1800s and has been tastefully and sympathetically modernised in recent years. Carraig Mhor Bed and Breakfast retains its original architectural character with many original features but provides stylish, contemporary accommodation for the discerning guest, those who seek a 'haven' from the pressures of modern living or true comfort after a strenuous day cycling, walking, golfing or indulging in the many activities and interests provided by Arran's amazing variety.
