Just in case you think we do nothing but swan around on nice trips 😉, we do actually work hard in between our jaunts. (Well Tom does, I just keep him fed and watered!)

Recently we've booked customers to a variety of places - Sandals in Jamaica, flights to Australia, Turkey with Jet2, a city break to Lisbon and a tailor-made fly/drive holiday to the U.S. There's also a walking tour of Hadrian's Wall coming up and we found a house overlooking the North Yorkshire coast for a family birthday get-together.

So whether it's a round the world cruise or a package to the Costas, we can help you. Don't forget we can also book airport parking, Lounges and offer travel insurance. We really are your one-stop travel agent!

🤔 How's your bank holiday going? Bit grey & drizzly here in Hull but I can tell you it's hot & sunny in South Africa. How do I know? Well look who's there at the moment...

Currently in Durban but as you can see, Tom's been in a hot air balloon (I'll expect comments there), been lucky enough to go on game drives and visited Sun City Resort. I believe some South African red wine has been sampled too.....

🇬🇧 Back in Blighty after a fantastic trip to Northern Portugal, finishing in the city of Porto. We were all blown away by the beauty of the Douro Valley and my pictures don't do it justice - many of them were from the bus window!

Our group all agreed that on a personal holiday we wouldn't have chosen to go to museums - but so glad we did. WOW in Porto was, well wow! World of Wine actually comprises 7 museums and 12 restaurants and you could easily spend a whole day there. We were also privileged to have a private visit to Livraria Lello "one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world" before it opened to the public. And yes, we also had lots of wine and port!

But Portugal isn't just about food and wine - the Northern coast is particularly great for surfing, the area is perfect for hiking or cycling, there are even kayak trips to view the wall art we saw in the Coa Valley - and so much more.

📣 I hope I've whetted your appetite for this lovely country and the good news is that masks in Portugal have now been dropped along with passenger locator forms and UK travellers can use e-gates at airports, instead of having to queue for manual checks.

So now!

🥰 Portugal and the Douro in particular does not disappoint! We've been driven through beautiful countryside and stayed in fabulous places. On our first stop at the beautiful Casas do Coro we had a bumpy but fun ride in a camionette to see the sunset from the vineyard. Sadly the sunset didn't materialise but we enjoyed an excellent rose wine under the trees!

Yesterday we visited the Coa Museum and saw some Palaeolithic rock art (over 20,000 years) - discovered only in the '90s, it was in danger of being completely covered by the construction of a new dam. However local students lobbied and protested against it and (in short) the dam was stopped and the site is the largest of this type in the world, with UNESCO world heritage listing. A nice touch was that our guide Christina had been one of those students!

A lovely lunch at the museum (I'll come back looking like a wine barrel!) was followed by a port tasting at Croft's Quinta da Roeda then a little boat trip along the Douro. Needless to say this was followed by a very good dinner & drinks at the Vintage House Hotel overlooking the river.

Sorry to inundate you with photos, many of which were taken from the minibus, but I just want to give you a flavour of this lovely country!

Today we're off-roading in a 4x4 tour and then - oh yes, more wine tasting! Salut!

✈️ Angela's turn to travel! Here are a few clues...

Yes the obligatory airport drink (Gatwick was very well organised and no queues) then a great flight with TAP to Porto where I'll be doing a short tour of the Douro Valley. I've never been to this northern part of Portugal and although we have a packed schedule, I'll send lots of pics soon!

We ♥️ Portugal and certainly made the most of our trip to London by attending a training session on Portuguese Wine Tourism. If you only think of the Algarve for a holiday, think again! And if you enjoy wine, definitely think of Portugal - there are 14 wine regions boasting beautiful quintas, many offering accommodation but most with wine tasting tours, cookery classes, even the chance to harvest or tread the grapes!

After our training and a delicious pastel de nata we were fortunate to attend the Wines of Portugal Annual Tasting for the trade. Did we taste? Of course. Did we spit? Of course not 😆.

If you like the idea of a wine tour of Portugal or a river cruise along the Douro, get in touch and you too could discover a World of Difference 🥂.

🏙️ We're having a great couple of days in London attending some travel functions. We've stayed at the H10 Hotel in Waterloo - certainly a room with a view and although we just missed the recent Spring sunshine, we enjoyed an al fresco cocktail on the Sky Bar deck surrounded by London's iconic skyline. More on our trip later...

More pics of stunning scenery and places to stay in Morocco! As you can see, the final hotel/riad in Marrakech boasts some amazing artwork.

The tour is drawing to an end but we hope it may have whetted your appetite for this interesting and beautiful country - if it has, you know where to come to book your holiday!

😬 Envious, moi? Here are the first few pics from Tom's trip to Morocco - Casablanca, which he described as bustling but very cultural, and as you can see boasts some beautiful buildings. The stunning stained glass windows are in the Notre Dame de Lourdes church and the group, as always led by a local English-speaking guide, toured the Medina and took advantage of some local culinary delicacies!

The next stop was Fes and just look at the fabulous Riad the group stayed in! I really want to go back to Morocco....

Greetings! Now that holiday travel is getting back to 'normal' (it's travel Jim, but not as we know it) - we thought we'd dust off our FB page.

We've recently sent plenty of travellers off to places like Jamaica, Mexico, Tenerife and Costa Rica and this week Tom is dusting off his own passport ready to travel to Morocco with one of our great suppliers - Intrepid. It's a place that we've both really enjoyed - so watch this space for pics from his trip!
