A hilatious whodunnit spoof showing at the Frazer Theatre this May

From Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th May, the Knaresborough Players will be performing "Secondary Cause of Death", a hilarious whodunnit spoof written by Peter Gordon.

This is a sequel to "Murdered to Death" which was performed by the Knaresborough Players in May 2019 which was enjoyed by all who attended - but don't worry if you missed out, you don't need to have seen it to see this!

It’s 1939, and storm clouds are gathering over Europe. Having inherited Bagshot House, Colonel Charles Craddock has converted the property into a hotel for the discerning visitor. Soon Inspector Pratt arrives once again at Bagshot House, bearing grim news for the Colonel. But that’s just the beginning - Who is the strange Polish Count? Is Henrietta really an army captain? And where does the flamboyant thespian Cardew Longfellow fit into the picture? When Joan Maple’s sister Cynthia arrives to stage a murder mystery evening, it’s not long before Pratt’s visit turns into a chaotic nightmare as the bodies pile higher than ever!

There are performances every evening and a matinee at 2pm on Saturday 18th May.
Tickets are £10 (£8 over 60/under 16) from https://thelittleboxoffice.com/frazertheatre/book/event/197601

Roll up! Roll up! Dame Gertie Dollop is thrilled to announce GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS, the upcoming PANTOMIME at the FRAZER THEATRE from 17th to 28th JANUARY 2024!

Will Dame Gertie rescue her circus from the dastardly Ringmaster Heinkel? Will Baby Bear’s love of honey lead to trouble? Will Goldilocks help Silly Billy to save the day and to become the clown he always wanted to be?

Find out as Gertie’s terrible talentless circus troupe lead us on a journey of mystery and laughter, magic and disaster…and of course plenty of porridge!

Join the calamitous clumsy clowns, the bearded lady without her beard, the unsteady sword swallowers, Magical Keith, the lily-livered lion tamer, and the three fantabulous, stupendous, tremendous, mind-boggling, mic-dropping DANCING BEARS in our annual extravaganza. With singing, dancing and lots of chances for the audience to get involved, this feel-good, family pantomime is fun for all the family.
