Our holiday accommodation, 'Acorns', is a self contained part of the owners' property, "The Threshing House", formerly part of Darley Farm. Situated in the hamlet of Darley Ford within sight of the famous 1000 year old Darley Oak and on the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor. Upton Cross is the nearest village, about 1 mile away or a 20 minute stroll and boasts a pub, The Caradon Inn with home cooked foo
d and real ale, a post office with a good selection of groceries and fresh bread, and a church. The nearby town of Liskeard has a good selection of shops including supermarkets. "Acorns" is a converted farm building in a rural setting with superb views of Caradon Hill, Bodmin Moor, Kit Hill and surrounding countryside. The accommodation is on 2 floors with kitchen/living room on the upper floor to take advantage of the views. The private enclosed garden is accessed from the kitchen/living room via a stable door. It is ideally situated for exploring the moors, coast and countryside of Cornwall and Devon
