How lucky were we to have the Hero Events Per Ardua Ad Infinitum rally go right past the podsite this morning.
Such a lovely sight with some beautiful classic cars who have been rallying around the local area for the last couple of days, with this year's rally headquarters being based in the local town of Llandrindod Wells.

With all the rain we have been having lately, we thought we would pop up to the @elanvalley to see the dams running over whilst doing the Children's Christmas trail.
It's amazing to see the feats of engineering coupled with the natural environment when the water is ferociously coming over the dam walls.

What a day at the Elan Valley walking through Pen y Garreg dam. Such a great experience and well worth it - made even more spectacular by the water cascading over the over the top of us as we walked through to surface at the central tower to get a view from the middle and then walk through to the other side.
The dam open days are held a various times of year so keep a look out on their socials as to when they are holding another one.
