The miller is BACK π And yes, thatβs right, the windmill is about to start turning π
Melin Llynon is now officially the last working windmill in Wales once again and, to top it all off, the man himself is back to run it π
Lloyd worked the mill from 1999 to 2016 and is returning to work her for a few more years ππ» He will also train myself and another apprentice to carry on the craft!
We have to take it easy on the mill and it is extremely weather dependent, but we will aim to turn it most weekends during the season to begin with π Iβll do my best to post about it in the mornings if we know it will be turning!
This is NOT a promise β¦ But we have earmarked this coming Saturday as a potential first day π
Disclaimer: we are still a long way from producing food safe flour ππ» But weβll get there π
This has been the result of incredible work by Isle of Anglesey County Council, Cadarn Consulting Engineers and Grosvenor Construction Ltd and, once the elections are over, we will host a grand reopening to celebrate all the people responsible for making this happen β€οΈπ
