This beautiful young buzzard was in my carport and not looking happy yesterday. On expert advice I put it in a cat carrying box in a quiet place with a towel covering it. Sadly by morning it had died. I think it had been hit by a car and and had a damaged wing and severe trauma. At least it wasn't mauled by a feral cat or a fox.

Does anyone on here use an Epson ecotank 2028 printer? It uses 104 inks and I can't get it to fill. Any advice?

I have done B&B for such a long time and find it hard to stop, especially when I get such amazingly nice guests. Yesterday I had 3 Canadians, lovely people and then we started talking! They had been friends with a highly eccentric young painter and world renowned Ice skater and his equally eccentric parents had been regular visitors here at Firs Cottage in the late 1990s!!
Coincidences abound in this business and I do enjoy them!

Can anyone help please? My Epson eco tank 2820 printer has stopped printing black ink just when I need it most! I have cleaned nozzles, added more ink and done every thing I know to rectify it!
I have more cards to print!!

After 6 long weeks, my broken right hand has been released from the confinement of a cast! Thank you to my friends who have generously given their time to ferry me about while I was not allowed to drive! I love and appreciate you all. This wonderful rainbow encased the Valley this morning, I didn't find the pot of gold!1

Naturally, I am very proud of my B&B, it's my home and has helped me look after hundreds of guests over the last 37 years . This week a friend visited with her grand children and on getting home they were overheard telling others 'Firs Cottage is cuddly and warm'.
I love the cuddly bit!!

Happy New Year everyone! Blwyddyn Newydd Dda! Well this year I shall have a furry first foot or rather a woolly one or three!
The lost sheep are in my porch and as no farmer is claiming them I shall do it. Mary had a little lamb? No she didn't she had three!
They've mowed my lawn beautifully -BUT- they have also eaten a lot of plants I'd rather not lose, heaven knows what some of them have done to their tummies!

MAISIE-MAY'S BACK!!! She crawled in this morning very hungry and limping slightly. She's also rather subdued and Dusty seems glad to see her, she had stopped eating.

New safe road surface being laid now on the corner, work will continue tomorrow evening too. Then strange noise has traumatised my 2 cats who are sitting just outside the door, ears pricked!

Just a thought! My finger nails, usually very strong have suddenly started flaking and splitting. I had Covid in the spring, is there any connection?

Thank you Llanrwst Gwydir Surgery! My 'flu jab was 9.02 on Saturday, I was documented, called, jabbed and out in 5 minutes! Other NHS services could learn a lot from this efficiency!
