As it is in the Olympic Village, we are surrounded by the legacy of 2012. There is the Olympic pool designed by Zaha Hadid, with its 50m lanes, open till late. The Velodrome with indoor and outdoor tracks, tennis courts nearby, a basket ball hall and of course the Olympic stadium, and not to forget ArcelorMittal Orbit, the tallest sculpture in the UK. Queen Elizabeth Park is the biggest park in London now, with the Lee river passing through it. Nearby are the canals, that are great for walking or cycle tours to explore London. Have a look on the map to get and idea how much they stretch out. In a walking distance Hackney Wick is on the other side of the canal, full of pubs, bars, clubs, culture and art.
