Happy New Year everyone! Rickshaw is adopting a new strategy this year - The platform is now 100% free for all guides, and guides can also set their own prices for every tour they offer! You can find our guides at https://app.rickshaw-tours.com/

To run tours through Rickshaw you will first need to register as a guide on Rickshaw so, to do this, please register at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSepzhhqrZWQSLgwSvzlqMl1aRJxLo_HPUwJ1ImhcYWbjdfjoA/viewform?usp=sf_link

You will also need a standard Calendly account ($10/month) linked to either Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams, so that you can set your tour schedule and prices, and run your tours through one of these apps.

December 17 - Save the Date!

We're excited to announce that Rickshaw is now back up and running, but this time with a difference!

Rickshaw Virtual Tours is on a new platform, meaning you can now go on live tours using either your desktop or mobile device.

On 17 December 2023, Simon Kinyanjui, will be hosting a live safari drive through Nairobi National Park. So, if you want to experience the beauty of African wildlife up close & personal, and in the company of an entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide, please book your adventure with Simon here: https://app.rickshaw-tours.com/guide/simon-kinyanjui

The tour will take approximately 1 hour and costs £25 pp. Payment can be made either before or after the tour by clicking on the "Payment" button in Simon's profile page, which is the link above.

Why not visit the Maryland Zoo, virtually?!

Sharon aka The Bay Lady has just added the zoo to her fantastic collection of tours available via Rickshaw's fully interactive 1-1 format.

The Bay Lady's virtual experiences are still great value at £12 (US$15), particularly as you get £10 of that back by answering a post-tour survey.

The zoo's got a huge African Journey area to see, as well as the most successful African penguin breeding colony in North America. Ginny's an awesome guide - it felt like we were walking and talking our way back through the centuries on a sunny summer day in Southern England.
