What a week we had. Long-standing guests and friends "Team Stubbe" enjoyed discovering the beautiful Bregenzerwald area in Austria.

Hosted by Isabella, owner of the Gämsle Hotel https://www.gaemsle.at/
eating wonderful local dishes and drinking an occasional beer as a reward after some rather challenging cycling tours.

29.11 - Rest Day or optional ride to Swartberg 100km / 800m
30.11 - Oudtshoorn to Knysna 127km / 1800m
01.12 - Plettenberg to Jeffreys Bay 130km / 1300m

"After years of thinking about it, and months of planning, I have finally begun. This is me dipping my bike in the Pacific Ocean at Rockaway Beach, south of San Francisco. From here, I plan to head east and keep going until I dip my tires in the Atlantic Ocean at Virginia Beach. This should be an amazing adventure, but first I have some really steep hills to get over!!"

For those looking for a slightly shorter but equally rewarding adventure, the 105 km route, featuring the iconic Helshoogte pass, provides a captivating blend of rural and urban scenery, offering participants a memorable journey.

In the spirit of inclusivity and encouraging new riders, the event will also feature a 60 km route tailored for younger and novice cyclists. This accessible route ensures a safe and enjoyable experience, catering to those who are new to the sport or prefer a shorter distance.
