Normally, you could prove your UK visa status by generating a code and sharing it with employers or landlords. However, this may not work if you have a pending application and are still waiting for a visa. Or if you have an appeal. Your code would still show the old visa expiry date. UK Spouse and Partner visas: how is Financial Requirement changing? From 11 April 2024 the income threshold has been increased from £18,600 to £29,000 per year. Savings amount has been increased to £88,500. And we used to think the old amount of £62,500 was high! It has never been £16,000, as some pages on Government website say (confusingly).
