Hola, Buenos Dias?

Well, if you’ve not heard the news. Looe has another great new eatery on Higher Market Street in East Looe, JuJu’s Tapas & Small Plates which opened this week.

This intimate restaurant, as the name suggests, serve Spanish-style tapas & small plates, just a perfect way to graze with friends & family.

Higher Market Street is fast becoming a dining hot-spot, with a great variety of food options from Thai to Italian, Spanish to Fine Dining.

Pop over to JuJu’s Tapas & Small Plates to view the menu. The restaurant opens from 5.30pm and reservations are highly recommended (hours will extend as the summer season approaches).

What's not to love about this great new Boozy Brunch from our friends at Portbyhan Hotel & Restaurant?

Launching May 23rd, you can enjoy a choice from a fabulous range of hot dishes as well as unlimited* cocktails, wines, draft beers/cider and Prosecco too! There's also a not-so-boozy offering, with a great range of non-alcoholic drinks, teas, coffees & infusions.

The Boozy Brunch will be served between 11am-2pm (Thursday-Saturday) at a cost of £35pp. Your table is yours for 90 mins, during which you can catch up with friends & family, enjoy great views of Looe Harbour and sip on your favourite drinks.

*T&Cs apply, full menu coming soon over on the Portbyhan Hotel & Restaurant page, where you could also win a table for two on the opening weekend.

One of the highlights in the Village’s annual calendar, the Festival sees a range of live music, entertainment, art & crafts over a 9 day period.

This is a fantastic & much-loved community event, taking place in various locations, pubs, clubs & public spaces around the Village.

Please note: During peak season the beach is only dog friendly between certain times (times can be located on the sign posts around the resort) However, there is a dog friendly beach next door which is only a short 5-10 minute walk away! 🐾

Why not join Looe Sea Safari on a 2-hour trip this Saturday, April 20th, at 1pm get up close & personal with the iconic Eddystone Lighthouse?

This will be the first Eddystone trip of 2024 and the weather is looking really great for the days ahead - so you might spot our grey seals and even a pod of dolphins (fingers crossed!)

Some Eddystone Facts - Since 1698, there’s been a lighthouse on this reef of rocks and today‘s Eddystone Lighthouse (the 4th which has been built) dates back to 1882.

The little stump that sits alongside the Eddystone Lighthouse is the base of the 3rd lighthouse, Smeaton’s Tower, which was built in 1759. The remaining tower sits on Plymouth Hoe with it's iconic red & white stripes.
