Here are some hydration tips from the American Council on Exercise

1. Drink 17 to 20 Ounces of water about 2 to 3 hours before working out.
2. Drink 8 ounces of water 20 to 30 minutes before you begin exercising or while warming up.
3. Drink 7 to 10 every 10 to 20 minutes while working out.
4. Drink 8 ounces of water no more than 30minutes after exercising
