It’s not often we praise Bruce, our host, but we should! Guest reviews like these are not received on the odd occasion, but on a regular basis. He is brilliant at making a house a home, with thoughtful touches and his kind, helpful manner. Without him our lovely home from home, self-catering accommodation would not be the same 🥰.

Scottish skiing at its best. Unexpected school snow days make for lovely, impromptu time on the slopes.

With the Lecht 2090 and Cairngorm Mountain Resort only just an hour away - we feel soo lucky to have them on our doorstep with days like these!

Looks like an exciting event connecting many tour operators as part of Scottish Golf Tourism Week hosted Culloden Battlefield NTS in association with Good Highland Food. Why not visit The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd this Easter? Fab day out 🥰

Every morning, at this time of year, a herder will slowly wander around with a bag of food, encouraging the slightly shyer reindeer to have a tasty snack. It's good practice in case we need to catch somebody whilst they're out free ranging. Here we have Pavlova and Suebi eagerly waiting their turn... Suebi licking her lips in anticipation! 😋
