Happy Bank holiday to you all! What are you doing with your day?
My husband and I are both self employed so we both decided to work a small amount today. Mostly because we were away for 4 days last week. I’m also fitting in a dog walk, a half hour yoga/pilates home practice, and we’ll probably go on a bike ride together this afternoon after work. Making the most of what we have left of summer!
Please share with us how you are making the most of the bonus day? Perhaps relaxing? Out and about? Anything exciting happening today?

So I was booked for boot camp this morning but it was so hot and I didn’t sleep well last night so I cycled down for an early good half hour sea swim and some stretches/strength on the beach instead. All before the crowds get there and before I get ready for work. Perfect. 👌 it’s such a beautiful day!

I love Nicola’s classes. She started my love of Pilates but unfortunately teaches over the other side of the Island to me so I’ve had to find local classes.

Yesterday evening’s exploration…. Swimming through caves (and hubby climbing up cliff to caves) after kayaking to secret beach. I love our little Island. Wasn’t it hot last night though?? Don’t think I got much sleep last night! How about you?

Whilst setting up for our last class of the summer this morning I felt a little emotional! Reflecting on the happy times and all the other emotions shared in my classes over the last few months. I try hard to encourage a sense of ease and confidence in the Parents that come along to the classes. Creating a relaxing environment and listening as much as possible. I have really enjoyed getting to know some lovely families. I really look forward to seeing everyone in my classes starting again in September! Baby massage and baby yoga classes were lovely this morning. Was the last week of the course so we did painty footprints on certificates. Such lovely groups. Thanks so much to all of you!

🌟 I have some VERY exciting news 🌟

From Monday 17th June I will be running a clinic at the beautiful !!

I have lots of lovely ladies travelling from around the Island to see me in Gurnard, which sometimes can be a whole morning out for an appointment, and when trying to navigate feeding and nap times with a baby, it can be a bit of a mission! So I am really looking forward to bringing my clinic to Bembridge once a fortnight to help support even more women.

My Gurnard and Bembridge clinic will continue to assess and treat women’s health issues during pregnancy, postnatally and through any stage of life and I am excited to be working closely with from who offers specialist scar management treatment.

So re-sharing this as I had the 1st week of baby yoga and baby massage of the course today but failed to take a single photo! The morning was such a joy and it was so lovely to meet all the fabulous new Mums and babies. It passed far too quickly! Absolutely looking forward to next weeks classes! Have a great week all. Hi there. 👋 We have new 5 week courses starting in Carisbrooke Thursday 15th 11am. OR Freshwater Wednesday 21st 1pm They are both 5 week courses. Small friendly classes £50 reduced fees if needed. (Times are hard for us all at the mo! -I get it!)

Umbilical cord ties to replace the hard plastic clip. Much softer and more comfortable for baby and look cute too. Made with lots of love by me!

A lovely last week in the block of baby yoga and baby massage classes today! Thanks guys. So pleased to say I’ll see some of you again for the next block! No yoga next week but a 4 week block starting week after that. New baby massage class poss one place left! (After the competition ends soon!)

Tummy massage for digestion. 🌸Choose a warm room. 🌼A time when you are both feeling relaxed and comfortable. 🌸Do not massage for at least 24 hours after jabs or when baby is poorly or very upset. 🌼Be very gentle if baby has fed recently or better still wait until an hour after feeding if possible. 🌸You can be quite firm with the pressure if they have not just had a feed. This will really help the digestion.

Hi there. I run baby massage 5 week courses. The next one starts on the 15th July and after that the 2nd Sept and both have limited numbers so please let me know if you’d like to join us for that ASAP. It costs £40 for the 5 weeks. It’s suitable from around 5 weeks up until crawling.. it’s nice small friendly groups held in Carisbrooke at Victoria Recreation ground Pavilion Thursdays at 11am. Soon hopefully Westwight classes too. The baby Yoga is on Mondays and involves gentle stretches for baby and parent/ career and breathing techniques to help you relax with baby as well as songs/rhymes / actions etc and sensory play.
