Today marks the end of an era for the Hendra Barns Shoot.
The shoot has been a huge part of our lives for many years; but with bird flu causing havoc to so many shoots, we have decided that now is the right time to stop.
Many, many thanks to all our fabulous teams of guns who return to us each year, but particularly to our dedicated beaters and picking up up team- all of whom are dear friends and are crucial to every successful day.

Linda’s love of the sea and John’s passion for golf was definitely the inspiration for their wedding decor on Saturday.
It was a really lovely celebration with 30 of their closest friends at Hendra Barns, followed by an evening reception at Truro Golf club.

This was an extra special day for us, as Mia’s parents, Emily and James were married at Hendra Barns in September 2020.

It was our turn to hold a party yesterday and for us to say an enormous thank you to everyone who helps us with our weddings and to the shoot team for all their hard work throughout the year to ensure that every event we put on is executed to the highest standard - we certainly couldn’t do it without you!
Special thanks to Martin Elworthy for your expert tuition and for running the clay pigeon shoot, to Gary Dutton and his catering team for the delicious food and to Michael Norfolk for the amazing music.
It was a really fabulous day 🤗

All be it a year later than planned, this was quite simply the loveliest relaxed wedding reception this weekend.

Well the rather inclement weather definitely didn’t dampen the party spirit for Rob and Jade’s wedding on Saturday!

A beautiful venue, a fabulous marquee and the loveliest couple and their guests made this a really wonderful day.
