Hobart House is a unique three storey Edwardian town house, rumoured to have once been a Sea Captains' house. It has high ceilings, stripped floorboards, period features and crisp white bed linen. It has been restored to provide stylish self-catering accommodation in the heart of Newquay. Sleeping up to 10 in five separate bedrooms, with a large comfortable living room enjoying sea views and a spa

cious and light eat-in kitchen. It is ideal for one large family, two or three families sharing, couples sharing, mature groups of friends and surfing or golfing breaks. Located just a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars and three surfing beaches (Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne) and with parking for two cars in the garage (and a further car across the entrance of the garage if need be). Fistral Beach is 5 minutes drive in one direction and Watergate Bay is 10 minutes in the other direction. Watergate Bay is home to the wonderfully family friendly Watergate Hotel, Extreme Academy and Jamies Fifteen. Explore along the beautiful North Cornwall coast via road or on foot along the South West Coastal path. Newquay is also at one of the narrowest points of Cornwall, meaning that the more tranquil, sailing towns and villages of the south coast such as Fowey are within a 45 minute drive away. We have had a great summer season at Hobart House Newquay Cornwall, mostly thanks to our amazing changeover team who look after the house so brilliantly for us.

We will be updating prices for next year ASAP and you can book through AirBnB or direct with us.

We have plenty of availability if you want to enjoy Cornwall off season through September/October/November and December of 2023 (including Christmas and New Year, but hurry because those two weeks tend to get booked up).

We have just had a wonderful half term week at Jo’s property. It’s in the perfect location for walking to the town and beaches. Great local restaurants and the house was perfect for all 10 of us to also eat at home.
Jo was very helpful and always responded promptly to messages.
It will be a holiday we never forget and we hope one day to return.

Jo is helpful and quick to respond to questions. The house is clean and well equipped. We liked the location and found we could walk to many beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Ten of us stayed in the house, and we found there to be plenty of space for us all to stay comfortably for a week. We would definitely recommend to others

Great location and everything we needed to have a home from home holiday. Walking distance to the beaches, shops and restaurants. Plenty of space and amenities for meals in the house and chill time in the living room. Bedrooms spacious and storage space great. Jo was a good communicator and very nice and proactive about heating for a couple of dreary days.

Jo was most helpful and quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. The house is very central to the town but away from any crowds. Walking access to local beaches was great. Parking for two cars was extremely helpful to us. The house was clean and communal areas were great for entertaining.
After a long drive, the cream tea awaiting us was most welcome - thank you Jo!

A beautiful house in a prime location. A huge bonus is allocated parking as parking in Newquay can be problematic. The house is comfortable and well decorated, the kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are all comfortable. Communication with the owner was fantastic, they answered all questions quickly and went out of their way to be accommodating where they could be. I’d be happy to visit Hobart House again
