We were happy to be asked to undertake the creation of Northamptonshire’s COVID-19 Vaccination Centre for NCC and the NHS in the month leading up to Christmas.

Working with as the design team we turned a two storey office building into a centre for vaccine delivery, storage, staff welfare and training.

We fully overhauled the buildings mechanical and electrical services making improvements to heating, lighting, fire alarm and small power provision.

We removed the carpets and floor coverings on the ground floor and replaced them with a washable vinyl to create two vaccine delivery pods and a temperature controlled vaccine storage area.

The ground floor was fully decorated including all walls, woodwork and metalwork.

A new door access system was provided and we undertook the necessary fire stopping work to conform to building regulations.

The first floor was converted to staff welfare, admin, storage and staff training areas.

All this completed in a month with the help of our subcontractors who worked alongside us putting in late finishes and weekend work.
