Our Story
During May and June each year we host beekeeping courses consisting of two hour experiences and two day course here at Staithe Farm. The two day course will start you off on the fascinating art of beekeeping whilst the 2 hour experience takes you into the heart of a hive to marvel at this amazing creature, the honeybee. The courses are run by Richard, a Master Beekeeper who has passed all ten of the necessary theory exams and practical assessments of the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA).

If you like to do a course and be on site, our cottage may be available but booking early is advised. Staithe Farm Cottage is a recently renovated conversion adjoining the owners grade two listed farmhouse in the pretty village of Langley set in a conservation area and on the edge of the Broad's National Park. Langley is situated just 1.5 miles from Loddon in South Norfolk and 12 miles from Norwich. Langley Staithe and the river Yare are less than five minutes walk away, ideal for walkers as it is on the Wherrymans Way and cyclists as it is on the National Cycle Route 1. Bird watchers and anyone interested in the great outdoors would also appreciate this idyllic location.
Staithe Farm is only about 20 minutes from Norwich so accessible to all.
