Welcome to our page for Teasel Cross Cottage.
Teasel Cross Cottage is a traditional Cotswold stone cottage located near the centre of the charming village of Painswick, Gloucestershire and offers the perfect get-away for families or couples looking for the best in Cotswold countryside and hospitality.
Famed for it’s ancient churchyard with 99 yew trees, Painswick has been dubbed the "Queen of the Cotswolds" by some and “Cotswolds without the coaches” by others. The cottage is situated a short way down one of the lanes near the church and access to the excellent range of pubs, restaurants and cafes couldn’t be easier. There are numerous walks starting near the cottage leading out and around the Painswick Valley and the Cotswold Way footpath runs, literally, past the door.
We've recently refurbished the cottage to make the best of its traditional characteristics and features, such as the Cotswold stone walls, open wooden stairways, oak beams and inglenook fireplace. At the same time, we've made sure you can enjoy contemporary conveniences, such as wifi, internet/DVD/BluRay TV, Bluetooth player, a well equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom with shower.
The cottage has it’s own secluded garden which has views over the south of the village, the Painswick Valley and hills beyond.
To help you get comfortable on arrival, a welcome basked will be waiting for you with some basic essentials, including bread, milk, butter, eggs, jam and snacks.
With two bedrooms the cottage can sleep a maximum of four people with the option in one of the bedrooms of double or twin single beds. Free, on-street parking is available.
Prices vary depending, not only on the season, but we can also offer very attractive late booking discounts for that last minute get-away. So email and we'll get back to quickly with price and availablility.
