A couple of lovely walks from Garden Cottage Heughscar Hill.. you may be lucky and see the Fell Ponies - from there you could follow Ullswater Way to Howtown & enjoy some tasty treats at Howtown Hotel tearooms and pick up the Ullswater Steamers back to Pooley Bridge.
Or, head into Askham & enjoy Lowther Castle and Gardens & Queen's Head Askham or Punchbowl Inn for a bite of lunch and pick up the hopper bus back to Pooley Bridge - The Lake District

Spring is certainly in the air at Garden Cottage
Pooley Bridge is a lovely 5 minute stroll from the cottage. Head through the farm yard & follow the footpath along the river.. just beautiful on a spring day 🌼 🌸
