To all our lovely regular guests and any new guests to be welcomed to W***y Wilcox Cottage, Polperro in the future.

Having resided at the cottage for the last eleven months to do plenty of work to the property, we are pleased to announce that the diary for the remainder of 2023 is now open and there are a number of weeks available.

John and I would like to offer a 10% discount on any available weekly booking for the remainder of 2023. Please do check our availability on our website link below and any enquiries do email me or message me on Facebook Messenger.

Our 2024 calendar will be launched soon. We do have a number of bookings already secured for next year. If there are any specific dates of interest, please do message me and if they are available I’m more than happy to reserve the week for guests now.

It’s a special place to stay, Polperro is just quite simply, quaint, quirky and gorgeous. The people are wonderful and our iconic cottage virtually in the sea is pretty special too.

Wander the streets & the lovely independent shops, boutiques & artists; enjoy a fantastic array of places to eat & drink; perhaps a boat trip & visit to the Model Village and the Harbour Heritage Museum... & end your day with the wonderful harmonies of the Polperro Fishermen's Choir, performing alongside the harbour at 7.30pm.

Staying in the village a little later? Come & sing along to the shanties and foot-stomping sounds of the Polperro Wreckers at 9pm, in the Polperro Royal British Legion

So our 2023 diary is now fully up and running as from July 2023, just a little image to tickle your fancy! Stunning location and the most wonderful Cornish village to visit. Just hop outside the front door straight into the turquoise water or a stagger across the beach when the tide is out to go swimming. Quay jumping, rock climbing, cave exploring, stunning coastal paths, awesome pubs, tearooms, quaint shops, simply put - the best simple pleasures in life.

Stunning old black and white pic of W***y Wilcox in the day, no houses above and the village urinal tucked in the far left of the picture, now a wonderful viewpoint out to sea thankfully!!
We are pleased to be re-launching W***y to rent from July 2023. He’s being well nurtured and cherished over the winter months and we very much look forward to welcoming old and new faces to enjoy the wonder of this unique cottage in its amazing location. The benefit of a privately owned parking space behind The Ship Pub and a fabulous terrace with stonking views add to the joy of the stay. See website link below.
