Near to the ferry at Shell Bay, you will see this steel sculpture signifying the end (or beginning) of the South West Coast Path.

Regularly described as one of the worlds greatest walks, the single path runs for 630 miles and connects visitors with some of the finest coastal landscapes to be found anywhere in the world. 🚶🏽‍♂️

From Minehead on the edge of Exmoor to Studland Bay, it threads its way around the coastline and passes through a number of National Nature Reserves, Heritage Coasts, five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, two World Heritage Sites, a UNESCO designated Biosphere reserve, a Geopark, and a National Park.

The RNLI are celebrating 200 years of 👏🏻 Join them in on 18th & 19th May for their RNLI Lifeboat Festival - a free day of family fun!

See capsize demos, lifeboats from across the world, kids activities, and a Parade of Sail on Sunday to wrap up the weekend, with food and music on site as well.

Entry is free, but donations to help us keep saving lives at sea are welcomed.
