Welcome to the page where we would like to share our home away from home with you. Black Rock Sands is an incredibly beautiful beach on the Llyn Peninsula in Wales with incredible views of the Snowdonia mountain range. It truly is a beautiful place with so much to see, do and explore, or just relax and unwind on this endless beach with soft sand and shallow warm sea that is so pleasant to swim in.
Our beautiful caravan is very large at 42' x 14', giving you plenty of space in the lounge as well as bedrooms, and all bedrooms have a lot more storage space than you're used to seeing in a caravan. With all the modern creature comforts, it really feels like a home from home.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'd expect as well as a washing machine and a dishwasher, great larder cupboard with plenty of storage, and a tall fridge freezer.
The super cosy living room is full of light with lots of windows but enough privacy thanks to the sheer curtains. Double patio doors open up onto a sunlit patio that gets the sun all afternoon. 2 comfy free standing sofas make it feel like a home. The larger one opens up to a double bed. There is a very effective electric fire, Smart TV and a few games and books. It also boasts a super cool built in radio and Bluetooth setup with speakers in the ceiling.
The master bedroom has a super comfy full size double bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a spacious dressing table. It also has overhead storage with built in lamps, a DVD TV and a shower bathroom with a heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 has two full size single beds, overhead storage with built in lamps, spacious wardrobe and a dressing table. The two beds in the 3rd room may be slightly smaller but are still wider than the usual caravan sized beds. Again, enough wardrobe space, overhead storage with lamps and a DVD TV. The main bathroom has a spacious shower and a heated towel rail and again, plenty of space for all your toiletries and towels.
The large wrap around decking has comfy rattan furniture and is basking in sunshine most of the day. You also have a table with benches on the spacious grassy area next to the caravan where you can have barbeques.
Our stunning home away from home is on Sands Lane, which is the first road from the beach, and it is a no through road so it's nice and quiet, and it takes 2 minutes to the beach (though we do walk fast, so give yourself 3 if needs be :)
Porthmadog and the whole area are just beautiful, the Black Rock beach is huge, peaceful and stunning, and the sand is the finest I've seen around Wales. The sea is shallow and oh, so warm, it's perfect for swimming even with kids. It's also a great base for exploring the wider area, the whole of Snowdonia being on the doorstep and makes the views from the beach simply stunning.
