Tonight we had dinner at Bwyty 51 in Criccieth.
Beautifully prepared flavourful tapas, with attentive and friendly service.
Definitely one to visit again ❤️

Out for lunch today at Bae Borth Deli Bar.
A cheese, tomato and chutney sandwich on focaccia, accompanied by a kale salad.and Kombucha. Yum!

Dinner at Yr Hen Fecws in Porthmadog tonight.
Brilliant food -so good we’d eaten our main course of sea bass and vegetable wellington before I even remember I needed a photo 🙄
So here are the puds - lemon crème brûlée and pear and chocolate pudding.
Highly recommended, but you need to book.

If you’re like me when I’m on holiday I want a change from the usual routine - thinking what to cook is my pet hate!
So during my holiday I’m on the look out for exciting places to eat; new and old favourites.
We start with Dylan’s in Criccieth, a crowd pleaser, something for all the family. Today’s menu included specials of oysters and lobster, but they also serve pizza and burgers.
We selected chowder served with sour dough bread and a Poke bowl with deep fried halloumi.
Delicious 👌

Such an amazing sea view from the building.

Just a few pictures from this mornings dog walk across the golf course to Samson’s Bay and back along Black Rock sands. So many beautiful wild and cultivated plants to see along the way.
The Cala Lily in the stream never ceases to amaze me.

We have a new hot tub🎉
The old one had sprung a leak over the summer💦
It now opens so that you can view the hill and golf course from the tub. Also excellent for star gazing ✨.
The air source heat pump that now heats the water uses less energy, so better for the environment.

One of our favourite Canadian treats.. Nanaimo Bars! Named after a city in British Columbia. This treat consists of three layers >> Almond, Coconut, Oreo & Digestive Cookie on the bottom > Sweet Custard Icing in the middle > Chocolate on top.
